FAQ’s

• What is your style of photography?

My style is a mix of journalistic and fine art photography. I try to creatively capture the raw emotion and natural interactions of my subjects. I tend to shoot with a bit of an editorial flair.

• Where are you based? and do you travel?

I’m based out of Los Angeles county. I travel back and forth between southern CA and the PNW.

• What gear do you use?

Camera bodies: Nikon D810, Nikon D750,

Lenses: Sigma 50mm 1.4, Sigma 35mm 1.4

• Help! I'm not good at posing! What do I do with my hands?

Not to worry! This is pretty common for people, actually. I will be helping guide you through different poses and actions throughout your session. The best thing you can do is show up to your session as relaxed as you can be and be open to my direction. Most people are actually pleasantly surprised by how fun and relaxed my sessions are! 

• What should I wear?

Wear clothing you feel confident and comfortable in. As far as colors go, it mostly depends on what we are shooting.  Earth tones are my favorite because they photograph so well. They help to give images a beautiful timeless feel. I can definitely help you decide on some clothing options if you need!

• When and how do you deliver photos?

Depending on which package you are booking for, I generally deliver client galleries 4 weeks after their session. Every session includes a beautiful online gallery where clients can download their images.

• May I post my photos online?

Yes!  I'm happy when clients love sharing their images. Just please remember to give me credit as the photographer and tag me on social media.It can be very helpful to me in connecting with new clients!

• Do you shoot weddings?

Yes, I allow time to shoot a handful of small/intimate weddings and elopements a year.

I wasn’t sure that branding photos were something that my little business needed, I didn’t think my business was worthy of the investment.
